Intasys Investment Affiliate Commences IPO
 
    MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 31, 2000--Intasys Corporation
(NASDAQ: INTA) announces that on Friday, January 28, 2000, interWAVE
Communications International, Ltd., (Nasdaq: IWAV), an Intasys
 Investment Affiliate, commenced an initial public offering of 8.5
million shares of its common stock at an offering price of $13.00 per
share. All shares are being sold by interWAVE. The shares are being
offered through underwriters led by Salomon Smith Barney Inc., Banc of
America Securities LLC and SG Cowen Securities Corporation. The
underwriters will have the option to purchase up to 1.275 million
additional shares to cover any over-allotments.
    Intasys currently holds 1.43 million shares of the common stock
of InterWAVE at an aggregate cost of $5.765 million. The Company
purchased 715,000 shares for $5.05 million on August 30, 1999; and, as
part of a strategic partnership agreement entered into with interWAVE,
received a further 715,000 share purchase warrants, which Intasys
exercised immediately prior to the IPO at an exercise price of $1.00
per share. At the close of trading on January 28, 2000, interWAVE
shares were quoted at $36.875.
    Steve Saviuk, chairman and chief executive officer of Intasys,
commented: "we believe that the commercial strategic relationship
between Intasys and interWAVE will prove to be even more important to
Intasys than the substantial return we expect on our interWAVE
investment. InterWAVE's wireless infrastructure equipment is

compatible with a number of products and solutions offered or planned
by other Intasys Investment Affiliates and projects under incubation.

integrating interWAVE's digital wireless network solutions.

Ja ja ja !!!
Intasys ist zwar etwas abgesackt, jedoch ist sie wieder am Weg der
Besserung ! Leider etwas hoch rein bei 11,20 Euro aber HALTEN!!! wird sicher über 14 gehn. Drin bleiben. Unbedingt !!!
