Ein Big Player im Ölsandmarkt und nicht nur dort!

Meines Erachtens viel zu wenig beachtet in Deutschland.

Einfach mal einlesen und dann selbst festelgen, ob s ein Kauf wert ist, ich habe in den letzten Wochen strategisch zugekauft, wie auch bei Suncor!

aber einen anstieg pro jahr um ca 10%, die letzten vier jahre, ich bin jedenfallst zufrieden

die Performance ist super, klaro, da gebe ich Dir recht, aber, ich denke, Du wirst mir sicherlich recht geben, wenn ich sage, dass
- der Wert noch Potential hat
und
- der Wert in Deutschland viel zu wenig bekannt ist.

du erfährst einfach nichts über diese bude und ich bin damals nur über einen artikel aufmerksam geworden
also eine schiene die in 70% der fälle in die hose geht, wenn man sich nur auf journalisten verlassen kann

beschäftigt, u.a. auch Quellen in den USA/Kanada gelesen und ich bin zur Überzeugung gekommen, dass derzeit Suncor und Husky zwei Unternehmen sind, die vom hohen Ölpreis überproportional bei geringem Risiko profitieren, womit ich nicht absprechen will, dass es nicht noch bessere Werte geben mag.

Hong Kong's Hutchison unit Husky Energy Q4 net profit up 98 pct to 1.07 bln C$


Hutchison Whampoa Ltd's Canada-based unit Husky Energy said its net profit for the fourth quarter to December rose 98 pct year-on-year to 1.07 bln cad, including a tax benefit of 365 mln cad due to federal tax rate reductions.

Sales and operating revenue amounted to 4.76 bln cad, up 54 pct from a year earlier. Earnings per share were 1.26 cad and the fourth quarter dividend was 0.33 cad per share.

Production in the fourth quarter averaged 367,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day, down 2 pct.

The company recorded a 2007 net profit of 3.2 bln cad, up 18 pct from a year earlier.

Turnover last year amounted to 15.5 bln cad, up 23 p

Aktientipp - Husky Energy: Die Alternative ist nur der Tanker nach China

Die Krise im Nahen Osten wertet stabile Ölförderländer auf. Husky Energy beutet in den kanadischen Provinzen Britisch Colombia und Alberta konventionelle Öl- und Gasquellen aus und gewinnt dort Öl aus Teersanden. Ölsand treibt die kanadische Ölproduktion auf zuletzt 3,2 Millionen Barrel pro Tag. Allerdings fehlen Pipelinekapazitäten, um das Öl abtransportieren zu können. Entsprechend handelt kanadisches Schweröl mit hohen Abschlägen gegenüber WTI und Brent.
Abhilfe schaffen könnte die geplante Keystone-XL-Pipeline, durch die Öl bis zu den texanischen Raffinerien transportiert werden könnte. Sollte die von US-Präsident Barack Obama nicht genehmigt werden, wird sich Kanadas Ölindustrie nach alternativen Absatzmärkten in Asien umsehen. Interessant: Hauptaktionär von Husky ist Li Ka-Shing. Der Milliardär aus Hongkong kontrolliert 34 Prozent des Kapitals. Wegen des Abschlags für kanadisches Öl schnitt Husky zuletzt schwächer ab als die Konkurrenz. Allerdings zeigt die Tendenz nach oben. Husky produzierte im zweiten Quartal durchschnittlich 310.000 Barrel Öläquivalent pro Tag (plus zehn Prozent) und erzielte rund 78 Dollar pro Fass. Unter dem Strich verdient wurden 577 Millionen Dollar (plus 41 Prozent). Beeindruckend: Die Reserve Replacement Rate, eine Kennzahl, die die Menge der neu gewonnenen Reserven ins Verhältnis zur Produktionsmenge stellt, liegt bei Husky seit Jahren überdurchschnittlich hoch, 2012 bei 170 Prozent. Die Kanadier schütten quartalsweise Dividenden aus. Aufs Jahr gerechnet rentiert die Ölaktie mit gut vier Prozent.

Husky is a materially different company today than it was several years ago when the current strategy of dividing its operations between the "Foundation and Growth Pillars" was rolled out. The company has built a diverse portfolio of upstream assets through its strategic partnerships, exploration success, and legacy position in Western Canada.

With two major projects, Sunrise and Liwan, set to start up next year, Husky is expected to generate positive free cash flow after capex and dividend. I believe the market is overestimating the cost-over runs at Sunrise and start up issues at Liwan and as a result underestimating the cash flow impact of these projects. The company is currently trading at a discount compared to its peers. The market is not fully appreciating the power of Husky's integration model, the significant improvement of its upstream operations outlook in the last several years, and the value of the company's midstream and downstream assets.

A Deep Diversified Portfolio

Husky over the last few years has significantly improved its operations. From a pipeline of only large, long-term projects the company shifted its portfolio to many near and medium term opportunities. The company's current portfolio now includes all near, medium, and long-term projects. Husky's deep, diversified portfolio allows the company to deliver predictable stable earnings. The Calgary, Canada based company has more high-return opportunities (IRR of 15% or more) than its capex allows it to develop.

Auch wenn du schon lange kein Teil meines Depot mehr bist, ich hatte dich seit Jahren auf der Watchliste, warst eine meiner ersten Aktien :)
