SinoBull.com to Develop WAP Connectivity for Mobile Phone Services
LONG BEACH, Calif., March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hartcourt Companies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HRCT, Frankfurt: HCT), www.hartcourt.com, today announced that its subsidiary, SinoBull.com is developing a wireless technology platform to enable Chinese investors a means for trading stock online through mobile phones and wireless PDA's (Personal Digital Assistants). SinoBull.com, Mainland China's first and only nationwide approved secure online trading financial portal, will be formally launched with ceremonies in Beijing and Hong Kong later this month. The company's wireless delivery systems will be compliant with the industry accepted WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) using WML (Wireless Markup Language) for providing the content and user interface for such narrowband devices. In cooperation with all major mobile phone providers in China, SinoBull.com plans to invest over $1 Million during the next 12 months to perfect a secure solution and provide investment access to the expanding population of the over 30 Million mobile phone users.
SinoBull.com's partner Shangdi Network, via Hua Xia Info, has co-developed with Legend, China's largest computer manufacturer, a revolutionary cable TV set top box, enabling the 100 Million Chinese subscriber market the ability to trade stocks online as well as access the Internet. Named ``Stock Easy'', this set top box manufactured by Legend, in partnership with Microsoft, will display the built-in SinoBull.com graphical user interface, connecting to a secure Virtual Private Network through UAC's Huaqing Shitai 162. China Telecom will cooperate by providing lower rates, keeping access rates to customers lower than the regular Internet ISP charges.
With cell phones, PDA's, cable TV set top boxes and computers, SinoBull.com will cover all marketing venues for its online stock trading financial portal. SinoBull.com intends on branding these additional access products and marketing them directly to the investor populace through its already popular website, which has received over 300,000 page views in just its first 3 days of operation.
Hartcourt has also formed a Joint Venture partnership with Innostar Hi-Tech to provide nationwide wireless ISP and IP phone service across Mainland China. This will be promoted and cross-marketed as the wireless ISP of choice for SinoBull.com's wireless narrowband clients.
