GoIP Global, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GOIG) announced today public betas of GoBox (Add-On Exchange, Inc.) applications are now available for download at www.gobox.com. Users can now access their free 20GB cloud through multiple ways. Available for download is a unique desktop application for Microsoft's Windows and Internet Explorer. In addition, a comprehensive sidebar and toolbar for Mozilla's Firefox is ready for public use.
John Rafuse, CEO of Add-on Exchange, stated, "After receiving the acclaim of the #1 Favorite Application Programming Interface (API) at the Mashery Lounge at SXSW this year, partly from our unique revenue sharing with developers, we are now thrilled to present some of our own GoBox branded internal applications that showcase the GoBox technology and service. As part of our user acceptance testing we have released public betas of our own applications to let early adopters download, kick the tires and take things for a spin. All the bells and whistles aren't there yet, but as a V1 we are looking to understand metrics, use, and stability to ensure our strategy and vision will be achieved when we deploy our marketing programs and scale-up."
Ike Sutton, GoIP Global's CEO, commented, "The possibilities of cloud monetization are nearly infinite in the Software and mobile arenas. This is an important milestone as we continue to look forward to merging GoBox and Go800 as announced last month."
Early adopters and enthusiasts are urged to visit www.gobox.com now and give their feedback through forums and bug reports. The beta period is expected to be short, with a formal release coming out sometime near the beta releases of the upcoming mobile interfaces. Developers are also encouraged to investigate our aggressive revenue sharing program for utilizing the GoBox API.
