Acacia Mining meldet schwache Zahlen für 2017

Der Ausblick für 2018 überzeugt ebenfalls nicht, die Dividende wurde gestrichen und der Disput mit Tansania hält an. Hinzu kommt ,dass die Aktie heute auf ein neues 52 Wochen-Tief unter 140 GBP gefallen ist.

Ich habe heute erneut eine Posi aufgebaut, dar ich gerne kaufe wenn die News nicht die besten sind.Die Aktie stand 2017 im Hoch noch bei über 6 Euro von daher sollte schon alles jetzt mit eingesteißt sein.Gold kann sich auch gut über 1300$ halten was für die Q1 Zahlen nur für eine Positive Überraschung sorgen kann.Sollte es aber weitere Probleme mit der Regierung geben bringt das natürlich alles nix:)

Der mögliche Verkaufspreis dürfte angesichts des Hick-Hacks der vergangenen Monate arg gelitten haben. Endeavour Mining wollte mal ein Merger, aber ich glaube nicht mehr, dass sie hier noch Interesse an Minenanteilen haben, dazu ist Tansania zu unberechenbar geworden bzw. die Restriktionen sind zu hoch. Höchstens den Chinesen traue ich hier noch eine Beteiligung zu.

Operational Highlights

• Regrettably, at North Mara, an operator for one of our contractors had a fatal vehicle-related accident during the period
• H1 gold production of 254,759 ounces, 41% lower than H1 2017, with gold sales of 251,045 ounces being in line with production
  
• H1 AISC¹ of US$945 per ounce sold, 6% above H1 2017, but tracking below the mid-point of the full year guidance range
  
• Q2 gold production of 133,778 ounces, 36% lower than Q2 2017, but 11% above Q1 2018
  
• Q2 gold sales of 134,090 ounces, 5% higher than Q2 2017, and in line with gold production
• Q2 AISC1 of US$918 per ounce sold, 10% above Q2 2017, but 6% lower than Q1 2018
  

Financial Highlights

• H1 Revenue of US$333.4 million, 15% lower than H1 2017
• H1 EBITDA¹ of US$133.6 million, 17% down from H1 2017 and adjusted EBITDA¹ of US$91.6 million 45% lower than H1 2017
• H1 Net earnings of US$30.9 million (US7.5 cents per share), 51% down from US$62.5 million in H1 2017, impacted by a US$24.2 million impairment at Nyanzaga, with adjusted net earnings of US$13.5 million (US3.3 cents per share), 79% lower than H1 2017

• Generated US$14 million of free cash flow in Q2 2018 due to strong operational performance
• Cash balance rose 49% during H1 2018 to US$120.1 million due to a non-core royalty sale and the strong operational performance

• The creation of a local operating company to manage Acacia’s operations in the country.
• Economic benefits from Acacia’s operations to be shared on a 50/50 basis. The Government’s share of economic benefits would be in the form of royalties, taxes and a 16 percent free carry interest in the Tanzanian operations.
  
• A payment of $300 million to the Government of Tanzania to resolve outstanding tax claims, to be paid over time on terms to be settled by the parties.

Hi Vassago,

danke für deine Updates hier, auch wenn sonst kaum einer schreibt :)

Bin schon seit längerem mit einer Posi bei Acacia drin, ohne das die letzte Zeit aufmerksam verfolgt zu haben.
Daher mal die Frage, was genau bedeutet nun die Übernahme von Barrick (bzw. eine Annahme des Angebots) für mich als Aktionär?
Werde ich im Zuge eines "Squeeze-outs" einfach mit meiner kleinen Position rausgedrückt? Bleibt Acacia als eigenständige AG bestehen?
Bekomme ich stattdessen Barrick Aktien im gleichen Wert?

Ist das erste Mal, dass ich aktiv so eine Situation miterlebe, d.h. ich habe keinerlei Erfahrung.
