Was für ein Kurssturz!

Nachdem Detour das Produktionsziel von 600-650 auf 595-635 koz gesenkt hat, bei einer gleichzeitigen Anhebung der AISC-Prognose von 1050-1150 auf 1200-1280 $/oz.

Millidardärs Johnson und dem Managments von Detour Gold um ein mögliches Übernahmeangebot wird erbitterter. Johnson wirft dem Management vor, es läge ein interessantes Übernahmeangbot vor, das diese ingorieren würden.

Trotz des Streits (bzw. wegen den Übernahmegerüchten) stieg der Kurs heute um 12 %, das April-Gap wurde fast geschlossen. Seit dem Verlaufstief vom April hat das Papier 50 % zugelegt. Ich bin seit Ende Mai investiert, da ich auf ein Gap-Close spekulierte und der Abverkauf fundamental gesehen übertrieben war. Detour ist eine der grössten Kanadischen Minen mit 16 Millionen Unzen Reserven. Das Minenleben beträgt über 20 Jahre. Die AISC sind zwar sehr hoch, dass gibt aber einen schönen Hebel wenn der Goldpreis anzieht.
Ich werde das Geschehen nun beobachten und bleibe mit überschauberer Position investiert.

Reserven sind das eine, Abbaukosten das andere. Zuletzt wurde die AISC Prognose von 1050-1150 auf 1200-1280$/oz angehoben für 2018. Da bleibt beim aktuellen Goldpreis von 1220$/oz nichts hängen.

Welcher große "Big Miner" soll das sein, der angeblich ein Übernahmeangebot für Detour Gold abgegeben haben soll? Barrick Gold (20%)? Newmont Mining (15%)? Goldcorp (50%)? Kinross (15%)? Gold Fields (5%)? Agnico Eagle (15% Wahrscheinlichkeit)? Hoffentlich nicht Kirkland Lake Gold!
