Pacific jumps as PCC <1186.HK> skyrockets
SINGAPORE, Dec 23 (Reuters) - Shares of
Pacific Century Regional Developments jumped
46.5 percent on Thursday morning after its Pacific
Century Cyberworks <1186.HK> skyrocketted over
50 percent on a report over a possible share swap
But PCC announced in Hong Kong that a press article appearing in Apple Daily
regarding a report on a possible share exchange between the company and
Microsoft Inc. was not true. "The company wishes to clarify that the company is
not currently in discussion with Microsoft Inc. in relation to any share exchange,"
it said in a statement.
