GT Advanced Technologies: GT Advanced Technologies Announces Mesa ASF Furnaces to be Auctioned
MERRIMACK, N.H., 2015-11-13 22:14 CET (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GT Advanced Technologies Inc. (OTC:GTATQ), today announced that, on November 22-23, 2015, it will conduct an auction of certain of its ASF sapphire growth furnaces currently located in Mesa, Arizona, as well as a number of new furnaces in Hong Kong.

GT will retain the intellectual property related to the ASFs as well as the key personnel necessary to support the installation and commissioning of the units purchased in the auction. GT will provide such installation and commissioning services on terms to be agreed with the buyers of the ASF units. "We will remain active in the sapphire equipment business and look forward to better market conditions in the future as the users of sapphire in the consumer electronics and other industries innovate applications for the material," said David Keck, CEO of GT.

The related settlement agreement, which provides for the auction, is subject to approval by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Hampshire at a hearing scheduled for November 19, 2015. The full text of the settlement agreement was filed with the company's Form 8-K dated November 9, 2015.

es hier weiter? Wie schätzt  ihr das das ein? Ist GT ADVANCED ein Übernahmekandidat? Vielleicht kommt es hier noch mal zum Zock.  

Hallo zusammen,

ich denke dass es kurzfristig nochmals kräftig nach oben gehen wird in Richtung
0,49 €. Hier werde ich auch persönlich versuchen, den fahrenden Zug zu verlassen.
Bin nämlich leider auch zu einem viel höheren Kurs investiert.

Ich sehe es leider jetzt auch ein, dass das Spiel vorbei ist für uns die jetzigen
Aktionäre.

ich Zock mal auf nen Rebound in den nächsten Tagen - News u.a. bzgl. chap.11 sollten noch in Q1 kommen.

Weiß jemand was das nun für die heißt die noch ein paar Aktien haben? Der Handel wurde nämlich ausgesetzt.

Irgendwann hieß es ja mal "Shareholders would recover nothing under the proposed reorganization plan". Ich verstehe aber auch nicht, warum bzw. auf welcher Grundlage Anteilseigner leer ausgehen - ist das nicht eine Enteignung? Hätte es nicht eine Kapitalerhöhung geben müssen, damit mehr Geld in das Unternehmen kommt? Ich würde es versehen wenn GT Advanced Technologies übernommen worden wäre, aber sie machen ja unter gleichem Name weiter, wie geht das?

Ja Totalverlust, konnte man überall lesen......

Gibt es denn noch eine Sammelklage in den USA? Das wäre doch noch eine Chance. Läuft die Abwicklung dann automatisch über die Bank bei der man die Anteile gekauft hat?  

Könnt mir bitte Jemand erklären, was nun passiert?
Bin Anfänger und komm noch nicht ganz klar mit dem ganzen Fachausdrücken.

Meine sind heute aus dem Depot verschwunden. Ich weiß leider auch nicht, ob bei einer eventuellen Klage in den USA etwas automatisch erstattet wird.

meine GTAT Aktien sind auch aus dem Depot entfernt worden. Ein Blick auf den Verlustverrechnungstopf zeigt aber, dass kein Verlust verbucht wurde. Jetzt die Frage, kommt das noch? Verlust ist Verlust oder wird das bei Insolvenz anders behandelt?

genau das gleiche ist bei mir auch passiert. Ich gehe davon aus das dies ein "nicht realisierter Verlust" geworden ist, welcher auch nicht mehr steuerrechtlich abgesetzt werden kann. Ich finde es aber eigenartig das ohne meine Erlaubnis dies aus meinem Depot entfernt worden ist...

Hat einer vielleicht Neuigkeiten zu dem Thema? Ist der Verlust mit anderen Gewinnen zu verrechnen oder gibt es in den USA noch eine Klage? Ich finde dazu leider zu wenig Informationen.

Also ich hatte 2014 von meiner Bank die Mitteilung erhalten über Chapter 11 bei GT und man konnte in den USA an dem benannten Gerichtsstand seine Forderung als Gläubiger anmelden. Das habe ich getan und bestehen. Doch wer den Termin versäumt hat, der hatte Pesch gehabt. Das insolvente Unternehmen kann sich frisches Kapital unter Chapter 11 besorgen. Aber Forderungen der Gläubiger können nicht sofort vollstreckt werden. GT ist nicht Insolvent in dem Sinne und wen wieder Gewinne gemacht werden, müssen auch die Gläubiger mit noch geltenden Anspruch bedient werde. Außer das Unternehmen ist so schwach oder überschuldet, dass keine Aussicht auf Rettung besteht, bleibt nur die Liquidation nach Chapter 7. Sie werden unter die Aufsicht eines vom Insolvenzgericht ernannten Treuhänders gestellt und aufgelöst. Die verbliebenen Vermögenswerte werden verkauft, den Erlös bekommen die Gläubiger.
